Work at the ecoYoga Retreat Centre

23rd April 2014

We are looking for a fourth member to join our team running the Centre. The internship lasts three months and hopefully will lead to a permament position at the ecoYoga Centre.

Are you - bright, cheerful, hard working, have initiative, an eye for detail, meticulous at cleaning, have great stamina (both physically and mentally) and are sociable?

Are you interested in learning to run a Yoga retreat centre?

Would you like to live in a wild and remote location?

We need an enthusiastic, cheerful, strong person who can help with the day to day management of the ecoYoga Centre. This can involve long hours of work such as cleaning, overseeing cleanliness of the ecoYoga Centre's rooms, helping the chef in our vegetarian kitchen, overseeing other volunteers, welcoming guests, gardening and all other aspects of the running of a busy Yoga Centre.

In particular we are looking for someone with kitchen experience to work alongside our chef.

The hours of work will be dictated by the ecoYoga Centre's calendar and is roughly threefold:
1. When we are running retreats or during Centre hire we work very full time until late in the evening. This can amount to up to 12 hours per day for the duration of a retreat, which normally runs for three to seven days.
2. Out with of retreat time we have B&B guests. The Centre needs cleaned and managed. This involves about 6 hours work per day.
3. Times when we have no guests. Time for time out!

We try to make personal space for our daily Yoga practice and there may be opportunities to join some of the Yoga classes.

Dates for the internship are mid May for three months (please do not apply for this position if you have other commitments during this period). Possibly leading to a full time position for the right person.

Pay is £75 per week plus food and accommodation.

Training will be given - but you must have the basic skills mentioned.

Non smokers only and a driving licence holder/car owner preferred.

We look forward to receiving your details,

Many thanks,

Nick and Rachel.
