Staff required for ecoYoga Centre 2011

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people for paid seasonal work at our new ecoYoga Centre near Oban in Scotland. The Centre is relaxed, informal and friendly for up to twenty guests.

We have vacancies for the following:

House manager: a domestic God or Goddess to take care of the house and buildings. Lots of cleaning and arranging involved. A chance to be creative and inspired while making the inner surroundings of the accommodations comfortable and beautiful. To facilitate guests arrival and departure. In short to manage the day to day running of the Centre in an efficient but chilled out manner.

Maintenance/Garden/Spa manager: to look after the five acres of grounds, vegetable garden and wooden building maintenance. This person needs to be technically able to maintain and repair garden machinery. We need someone who has experience of gardening, is a dab hand at strimming, great at lawn mowing and quad driving (training given). One who knows the difference between a weed and a wonderful wild flower. Basic carpentry skills are useful. You will also be in charge of Hot tub maintenance (training given). In short understanding of machines and sensitive to nature!

Chef: the heart of the Centre is the dining hall and kitchen. The Chef will be in charge of catering for up to thirty people using organic vegetarian produce – as much from the garden as we can provide. Fishing expeditions may entail a fish feast. Delicate cooking of interesting tasty dishes with love and enthusiasm is essential.

The above posts are seasonal and temporary from March to September 2011. Working hours are not fixed. Accommodations can be provided. The ability to work with people and to have a zest for life is the key. These jobs may suit a couple. Wages according to experience.
